Who we help
Manage tree requirements early in your project
Arbor Survey provides arboricultural impact assessments, tree protection documentation and construction supervision for development sites. Our reports are written to clearly address Council requirements and provide practical guidance for managing trees before, during, and after construction.
Why developers instruct us
Reports prepared to address Council requirements
Prepared for permit assessment
We know what the Council will ask, because our principal was once the person asking the questions. The assessment answers it before the request for further information lands, so the permit is not held up due to a lack of information about the trees.
Protection that works on site
Tree Protection Zones are set on the plan, supervision is provided through the build, and the staged certification that addresses permit conditions and allows the release of bonds, all to AS 4970:2025.
Known by Councils and applicants
We act for Councils as well as applicants. The same independent report that the Council accepts from us is the one you lodge, which is exactly why it stands up.
What we do on a project
From feasibility to final certificate
Bring the tree requirements in before the design is locked, and carry them through to the certificate that closes out the permit.
Development and construction
Impact assessment, tree protection, supervision and Stage 1 to 5 certification. Complete project involvement from design to sign-off.

Development work, with clients returning
Developers and commercial clients are the largest share of what we do, and nearly half come back for the next project.
Nearly half of our developer and commercial clients come back for the next project.
